The CactusSoft web development team has been working on a project for AppArchitect for more than two years. The central idea of the project is to create an easy-to-use web-based WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor that functions as a powerful tool for creation native iOS apps for non-technical users.
Our team is responsible for both front-end and back-end development.
The following technologies were used: Node.js, PHP, Python, Objective-C, Ext JS, jQuery, MongoDB, Amazon SQS, and Amazon Cloud.
AppArchitect is essentially a drag and drop platform for the creation of mobile apps. Its benefit is in the simplicity of its use—users with no technical expertise can create iOS mobile apps for any purpose and with any number of functions. Building native iPhone and iPad apps is made as simple as using PowerPoint. Users are also able to test apps on their mobile devices and then submit them to the App Store.
You can see AppArchitect live here.
